User rights
Every Windows® user account in the system has a set of rules which are used by TrafficRefine in deciding whether
allow or not this user access to a particular Internet resource and to TrafficRefine control panel.
Every available rule is described in details on the corresponding pages of this manual.
The typical scenario of configuring Traffic refine should be like this:
- Create a new Windows® user account for which you want to define Internet access rules or select an
existing account if it is already created;
- Windows® users are listed under “User rights” navigation tab. When you select a user account, you
can change rules associated with it by editing different parameters in the rolled-down list.
- Settings are saved and become active right away, you don’t need to click any special “save” or “apply button;
- Attention!
-
Make sure to assign a password to all user accounts having access to TrafficRefine control panel. Keep your password save and don’t let others know it.
